Free printing is now available for the Fall 2025 semester at the WSU Vancouver library.
WSUV students can print 30 double-sided pieces of paper, for a total of 60 document pages. This amount refills once a day, every day, with no extra fees or charges, according to Library Director Sam Buechler. Color printing is currently unavailable, but the library is working to acquire a color printer by the Spring 2026 semester.
To print at the WSUV library, follow our instructions below or ask the library staff to assist you:
- Access Papercut from anywhere on campus.
- OR upload from anywhere by following the link on the WSUV library webpage here: https://library.vancouver.wsu.edu/printing.
- Be sure that you are not logging into the printing services on the WSU Pullman campus.
- Log into Papercut with your netID login.
- Your netID is the same username and password that you use to access Canvas and your WSUV email, so there is no need to make a new account!
- Click on “Submit a Job and Upload Document,” then upload your files.
- The following file types are allowed:
- Microsoft Excel: XLAM, XLS, XLSB, XLSM, XLSX, XLTM, and XLTX
- Microsoft PowerPoint: POT, POTM, POTX, PPAM, PPS, PPSM, PPSX, PPT, PPTM, and PPTX
- Microsoft Word Documents: DOCM, DOCX, DOT, DOTM, and DOTX
- RTF, TXT PDF, PDF Picture Files, BMP, DIB, GIF, JFIF, JIF, JPE, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIF, TIFF XPS, and XPS
Now your files are uploaded and ready to print! To release your print job, simply:
- Log into one of the two computers located at the Library Circulation Desk.
- Once again, you will log in with your netID and password. No cougar card is required!
- Select the files that you want released and click on the “Print” button to the right.
- Collect your work and then log out of the computer!
