“Trying to balance my course load and my job. Juggling personal life and school.”
Q: Is there a person or a class you took that changed your life?
“There’s one person I met after transferring here from Clark in 2022. [Before], I was more inclined to go to classes and dip. After meeting this person it made me want to take advantage of after-school stuff and develop my communication skills and be more sociable to come out of my shell more.”
Q: Have you enjoyed your time at WSU Vancouver?
“Hell yeah. I love it here, the community, my peers, interacting with all my professors. Campus is beautiful, very green compared to other campuses I’ve been to, nice mountains in the background. Scenery is beautiful.”
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to current and incoming WSU Vancouver students, what would you tell them?
“I keep thinking of this one quote from a YouTuber I watch: “Do what excites.” Don’t be afraid to try new things and do as much as you can.”
Q: What’s your favorite memory from your time at WSU Vancouver?
“Probably winning the election for ASWSUV vice president and getting inaugurated. It was very… I don’t even know how to describe it. It was very comforting knowing that students believed in our voice.”
