WSU Vancouver announced June 21 that Domanic Thomas, former dean of students and Title IX coordinator at Willamette University, as the vice chancellor of student affairs and enrollment.
Thomas applied for this position when Nancy Youlden retired after 23 years as the vice chancellor of student affairs and enrollment. This position oversees many WSU Vancouver organizations: admissions, financial aid, student government, disability services, etc.
According to WSU Vancouver’s announcement, “Education is Thomas’ personal and professional passion. As a first-generation college student himself, he looks forward to serving students who are much like him.”
Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in general science from Oregon State University, a Masters of Education in higher education administration from the University of Arizona and a Doctor of Education in postsecondary education from Portland State University.

WSU Vancouver welcomes Thomas in this position and the campus is eager to see the new vice chancellor of student affairs and enrollment help guide student life on campus.
